Each Grizzly knife is forged using premium high carbon Japanese steel and the San Mai technique. By covering the blade’s hard steel core with two layers of “softer” steel, your knives will stay sharper longer, resist corrosion, and last for a lifetime.
More importantly, they feature a blade edge so sharp that it always feels like you’re cutting through butter - no matter what you’re slicing!
The full Grizzly Series features five hand-forged knives to choose from:
The steel isn’t the only eye-catching element in a Grizzly Series… the rosewood handle adds a touch of elegance that will make guests gasp!
Hand stitched leather sheaths to protect your knives and you.
Superior craftsmanship and a lifetime warranty means these are the last knives you will ever need - or want - to own!
The quality of materials and craftsmanship, combined with our belief that everyone should have a knife they can be proud of, mean we create knives that simply can’t be beat!
We source premium high carbon Japanese steel and combine it with the expertise of our blacksmiths, who have more than 20 years of experience hand crafting blades. Finally, we offer them directly to you, skipping the middleman. The result is a series of knives that are affordable, yet have the same quality you’ll find in a professional chef’s kitchen.
Each Grizzly knife is crafted according to the ancient San Mai technique, which is the same method used to craft Samurai swords, by professional blacksmiths with more than 20 years of experience. The high carbon Japanese stainless steel blade is clad in two sheets of softer steel, which helps to prevent corrosion and keep the blade sharper for longer.
It may sound counterintuitive, but dull knives are actually more dangerous than ultra-sharp blades like the Grizzly Series… in fact, the sharper the better! That’s because a dull blade requires more pressure and strength to make a cut, which means there’s a bigger chance the knife will slip and you’ll cut yourself. A sharp knife makes easier, more accurate cuts, and is less likely to slip.
Hand wash only. NOT DISHWASHER SAFE. After every use, hand clean with warm soapy water and dry with a towel
