INGREDIENTS

  • 2 lobster tails
  • Mayo
  • Green onion
  • Chives
  • Bun
  • Paprika
  • S/P
  • Butter
  • Garlic

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

  2. Begin by cooking the lobster tails. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add the lobster tails. Cook for 8-10 minutes, until the meat is cooked through and opaque. Remove from the water and let cool.

  3. Once the lobster tails have cooled, remove the meat from the shells and chop into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.

  4. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, green onion, chives, salt, and pepper. Add the chopped lobster meat to the bowl and gently stir to combine.

  5. Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Melt the butter in the skillet, and then add the minced garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes, until the garlic is fragrant.

  6. Brush the inside of each hot dog bun with the garlic butter and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes, until the buns are golden brown and crispy.

  7. Remove the buns from the oven and fill each one with the lobster mixture. Sprinkle with paprika for an extra pop of color and flavor.

  8. Serve the Lobster Rolls immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Look for fresh, locally sourced lobster if possible, and avoid using frozen or canned lobster. Also, don't overmix the lobster meat with the dressing - you want to be gentle so that the lobster doesn't become too mushy.
